About:

Fallentimber is a located on the Ryan family farm in the forested foothills near Water Valley, about an hour drive NW of Calgary.  What began as an apiary (bee farm) in the late 1960s, grew into a meadery a couple generations later in 2010, and has been a growing family business ever since.  Mead is simply a fermented beverage made from honey…if grapes make wine and grains make beer, honey makes mead.  Mead can be made in many different styles from looking very much like wine, to something more like a cider, beer, or canned cocktail.  Fallentimber produces an interesting and diverse line of meads that mingle in all of the categories noted above.  Recently, we have expanded our line of beverages into the non-alcoholic realm with our ‘Honey-Kissed Sodas’.  We can now truly offer a beverage for all people and any occasion.
