Meet Nicola and Alan, they’re the brains behind Irvings Farm Fresh! The two of them were born and lived in the UK till 2005, when they decided to move to Canada and start a new life. They were inspired to start their own business because they couldn’t find the taste and quality of sausages that they were used to back in England. So, they chose to set up a commercial kitchen in their basement where they could begin the process of learning to make sausages. Two years later they expanded to a new larger facility, new farm, and started raising pigs to supply their business. Prior to the move to Canada, they had never farmed pigs, or done any kind of butchery. Since expanding, their product offerings have increased dramatically, and they now make a full range of pork products, in both British and North American styles.
