Meet Meb, a proud member of the Ethiopian diaspora. Knowledgeable and connected with her cultural community, she has been cooking traditional fair for over twenty years. Weddings, celebrations, and Edmonton’s Heritage Days have given her the opportunity to cultivate and refine the recipes of her homeland. During the lockdown she and her family pondered what they could do to supply meals and offer support to her fellow countryman. It was decided to create meals that people could take home to share in the traditional round table style of Ethiopia. Using as many as 15 different spices in her cooking you can go as spicy or mild as your palette prefers. Entrees include both meat and vegetarian dishes. You can find hot, ready to eat meals from her food hall space (K6), or take home dishes from their booth (C11).
