Meet Mary Anne, she, and her husband Ron, are the owners, chefs, and hummus makers of The Happy Camel! They're both red seal chefs who know how to combine Middle Eastern spices and fresh ingredients to make some fine hummus. Six years ago, they were introduced by a mutual customer to the original owner of The Happy Camel and purchased the company from her! She was originally from Lebanon and brought with her many recipes that are still used to this day, to create their mouth-watering products. A few of those fine products are the Labaneh, Baba Ganouj and ten varieties of Hummus. They also produce their own pitas in house and have a large variety of flavours, from white, to whole wheat, sesame za’atar and more. Their booth is also home to Carl the camel, their very own mascot!
