About:

Tundee Treats is on a mission to infuse real fruit and goodness into our pops of joy (a.k.a. ice pops) and our community. We are using simple frozen joys to spark a movement and build an inclusive community. We promise to keep finding creative ways to keep Edmonton cool (both literally and figuratively).

Tundee means “cold” in Gujarati. Our family’s journey spans 3 continents (Asia, Africa, North America) and 4 countries (India, Kenya, Tanzania, Canada). The name of this joyful endeavour is a tribute to these giants, whose wisdom and stories taught us how to move through this world with integrity, love, and kindness.

Tundee Treats is honored to bring joy to communities residing on the traditional territories of the nêhiyaw/Cree, Dené, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux, Nakota Isga/Nakota Sioux, Niitsitapi/Blackfoot, and Métis peoples. The land has been known by many names: amiskwaciwâskahikan (Beaver Hills House) by the Cree, ti odo (Many Houses) by the Nakota Sioux, and Amakowsis/Omahkoyis (Big Lodge) by the Niitsitapi. Settlers later named it Edmonton. We are grateful for the opportunity to make our pops of joy on these lands and recognize the privilege to live, work, learn, grow, and play on these lands. We are committed to our journey of reconciliation and building equitable, decolonized futures.
